Question 9.
Write an e-mail to your friend suggesting him what to do for the next exam.
Answer:
To : kalgidave20@gmail.com
Subject: Tips for your coming exam.
Dear Kalgi,
I know you are a little tense regarding your coming exam, but tension will spoil the game. Instead try to build up confidence. So far nobody in the world has gone to the exam hall with 100% preparation, so even if some preparation is still left, ignore it.

Concentrate on what you have done so far. No question paper is hard in reality, what makes it hard is our lack of confidence. Keep on revising whatever you have prepared so far and feel confident about it.

Refer to the previous question papers to make yourself aware of the pattern and FAQs. Don’t write too long. Answer pointwise. Arrange the answers in proper order. Don’t overwrite or make messy. Write in good hand.
Nothing more to a wise girl like you. All the best.
Truly yours,

You all are well- aware of this. In the same course, we also will have to contribute. ‘Cleanliness’ is next to ‘Godliness’. We usually seek God’s blessings for keeping us healthy.

We will keep healthy and happy only if we keep our surroundings clean. The direct advantage of cleaning streets is that they will look nice as well as we’ll keep ourselves far from diseases. But, beyond that, if we take up this task in our hands, it will provide a great motivation to others. We should not think that cleaning is a mean task.

Answer:
Interview with an allopathic doctor:
My friend’s uncle is an M.D. and has been practising for the last 20 years. Once in leisure hours, I got an opportunity to talk with him. Out of curiosity, I wanted to do comparative study of different ‘pathies’ about their effectiveness to health problems.

I asked Dr Mehta how allopathy is better than Ayurved and Homoeopathy. He was kind enough to put forward his views on allopathy. Very first thing he brought to my notice is allopathy is faster than other ‘pathies’ in healing.

Secondly, he said that no ‘Parheji’- strict observations are required like that in other ‘pathies’. So it is easier to take the treatment. Thirdly, allopathy has provided cure for previously incurable diseases like TB, Cancer, etc.

It has provided cures of various problems through surgery. It has increased the overall quality of life because problems can now be diagnosed much faster and accurately. It has its disadvantages also. Drugs like antibiotics have side-effects and can cause other health problems too.

GSEB Solutions Class 11 English Unit 4 Read 2 Yog for Health

Allopathy cures by pressing down the disease for the time being. The disease is never rooted out in allopathic treatment. Still, with certain limitation, it is advisable to go for allopathic treatment in this fast age.
